Our next meeting will take place on Thursday 14th November 2019, World Diabetes Day at St.Augustines Church Hall, Bucklesham Road, Ipswich, IP3 8TH from 7pm - 9pm.
We welcome you to attend our social gathering for people living with Type 1 or Type 2 diabetes, to come together and find out more about this long term health condition. This is an ideal setting for those who may have been newly diagnosed or have pre-diabetes/at risk. Your family and friends are most welcome to join us too.
If you would like some help getting back on track with managing your diabetes or just for one of us to listen to your concerns, we are here to help.
This month we are delighted to invite guest speaker Dr. Zoe Waller, CChem FRSC FHEA, Senior Lecturer in Chemical Biology, from the University of East Anglia, who will be giving us a talk and update regarding her continued research - Unravelling DNA structures and diabetes risk.
There will be an opportunity to speak to a specialist nurse from the hospital clinic if you need guidance or help with your diabetes. The group thank them for their continued support as we know their presence at our meetings is making a difference.
Our meetings are free to attend. Refreshments will be available.
